Weinanbau Frankreich

Idyllic climate and best soils offer in the numerous growing areas, ideal conditions for high-quality wines in France.

The large, traditional wine regions of France are Bordeaux and Burgundy. Here are produced many of the largest wines in the world. The third major wine region is the northern Rhône, but due to the low production leads a shadowy existence. Apart from Burgundy, large white wines such as the Coulée de Serrant are also produced on the Loire.

While Bordeaux and Burgundy are traditionally celebrated in France as the great wines, one overlooks in their own country the grandiose triumphal march of the southern French wines.
